Welcome to Horsham Piazza Italia

Travel Guide

Horsham Piazza Italia takes place in Horsham town centre, however you plan to get to Piazza Italia we have got it covered from here!

Where is Horsham?

Where can I park?

On foot

The town is accessible on foot for a large part of Horsham’s resident population and this is a recommended means of access for many.

Car or Motorbike

Horsham Town Centre is easily accessed by road. Follow the A24 from London (SW) via Dorking, the M23/A264 from South East London via Crawley, the A23/A281 from Brighton via Cowfold, the A24 from Worthing, the A29 from Chichester or the A281 from Guildford

There are many cycle paths in and around the town and various locations at which cycles can be secured. We urge cyclists to respect the road closures in operation during the event and to avoid cycling within the pedestrianised areas. This is for your own and general visitors’ safety as the town will be very busy.

Bus and Train

Horsham town centre is served by a number of bus routes and companies, the leading ones being Metrobus, Compass Bus and Stagecoach. On Good Friday and Easter Monday the Carfax bus stops are closed. Services may still be caught at Horsham Bus Station and Horsham Railway Station.

Horsham Railway station is operated by Southern. Services from London – around 1 hour – and Brighton and the South coast run through the weekend.

To plan your visit to Horsham by public transport we recommend you to www.traveline.org.uk or any of the online resources you are familiar with such as www.nationalrail.co.uk

Taxis in Horsham are white in colour displaying a roof sign and are fitted with a taxi-meter which measures the journey and calculates the cost.

Minicabs are not white in colour and must be pre-booked as it is illegal for the driver of a private hire vehicle to pick up passengers if a telephone booking has not been confirmed.

Taxi ranks are situated at Horsham Station in North Street and Carfax. During the event the Carfax rank operates from the top of the Causeway, just a short step from all of the event action.

You can check the Visit Horsham website for live information on vacant parking places.

Smart Park Multi-Story Car parks

Swan Walk, The Forum and Piries Place all operate ticketless pay on exit number plate recognition systems to make your visit easier. Just remember your car registration.

Other Car Parks

Other town car parks are available throughout the weekend including North Street, BT Exchange and Denne Road. All are in easy walking distance of the event. Sainsbury’s and John Lewis operate their own town centre car park with in-store purchase and limited stay conditions as normal.
